WWE Champion Brock Lesnar attempted to create a "Royal Rumble Moment" when he declared himself as the first entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match. As the self-proclaimed "Beast Incarnate," Lesnar did exactly that as WWE announcer Corey Graves dubbed Lesnar the Thanos to MVP’s Black Panther.

Lesnar eliminated 13 superstars during the men's Royal Rumble, with the returning Montel Vontavious Porter, aka MVP, being one of his victims. Those 13 eliminated superstars almost make up half of the contestants in the Royal Rumble, which means Lesnar almost wiped out half of the WWE Universe during his rampage.

Lesnar was the first person to eliminate over 10 wrestlers in a row, and tied Braun Strowman's record of 13 eliminations from The Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018, with Strowman being Number 13 for Lesnar. He would later be eliminated by Drew McIntyre, who went on to be the final man standing, earning him a title shot at Wrestlemania. McIntyre challenged Lesnar for the WWE Championship on Monday night's airing of Raw.

MVP made his presence felt in the Royal Rumble by sporting a variation on his classic ring gear inspired by Marvel's Black Panther. He also appeared on Raw wearing a red Punisher skull logo.

The Royal Rumble is available to stream now on WWE Network.
