WWE and 2K Games are looking to double down on the MyCareer game mode in the upcoming WWE 2K20 with the release of a new trailer unveiling a dual male-female narrative storyline.

The game mode will feature a fully-voiced story that follows two lifelong best friends Tre and Red as they pursue their ultimate dream of becoming professional wrestlers in the WWE. The mode will allow players to alternate between the male and female narratives as the two characters battle their way to top, interspersed with cutscenes expanding their shared history.

For the first time, players can create both male and female custom characters in the game mode as the duo progress from high school backyard wrestlers to NXT recruits, before finally standing among the Superstars of the WWE.

The MyCareer game mode lasts approximately 20 hours across around 100 matches, allowing the duo to join forces in the ring for mixed tag team matches. Players can also unlock unique outfits for the game as they cross paths with familiar wrestlers including Becky Lynch, The New Day and more.
