WrestleMania 36 has been a huge story in the world of professional wrestling, but this year it's been for all the wrong reasons. There were many rumors as to whether or not the event would even take place, but it has been confirmed that WrestleMania will take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fl. in its first ever empty arena show. It was also take place over the course of two nights for the first time ever, airing on Saturday April 4 and Sunday April 5.

WWE has had to make multiple changes and last-minute decisions to fill up the WrestleMania card. Right now there have been 16 matches announced for the two-day event, featuring storylines from Raw, SmackDown and NXT.

Otis Vs. Dolph Ziggler

The battle between Otis and Dolph Ziggler over Mady Rose's affection now comes to a head at WrestleMania.

The Kabuki Warriors (c) Vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

The best friend duo of Alexa Bliss and Nikki will be challenging The Kabuki Warriors for the Women's Tag Team Championship.

Edge Vs. Randy Orton

Edge shocked the WWE universe at the Royal Rumble back in January when he competed in his first match in nearly nine years after retiring due to injuries back in 2011. The following night on Raw, his former tag team partner Randy Orton brutally assaulted Edge with a steel chair. Orton later claimed that he'd attacked Edge out of a sense of love, to keep him from risking further injuries in the ring. This will be a Last Man Standing match, meaning there's no telling what kind of punishment these two will inflict on each other in what should be a personal and vicious battle.

Elias Vs. King Corbin

Elias and Corbin have been feuding for several weeks on Smackdown, with things escalating on the March 2 edition episode after Corbin attacked Elias and tossed him off of a perch.

Aleister Black Vs. Bobby Lashley

Aleister Black will be taking on Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania in a match that hasn't been given any particular explanation in kayfabe.

Sami Zayn (c) Vs. Daniel Bryan

At Elimination Chamber, Sami Zayn became the new Intercontinental Champion and Drew Gulak became Daniel Bryan's new coach/mentor. Gulak defeated Nakamura on the March 27 installment of SmackDown to earn Bryan a shot at the IC Title.

The Street Profits (c) Vs. Austin Theory & Angel Garza

Originally, Andrade and Angel Garza were going to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championship. However, Andrade was pulled from the show due to injury, so Austin Theory will be filling in as they take on The Street Profits.

Kevin Owens Vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins and Owens have been feuding since Survivor Series, in a program that ended up involving Samoa Joe, Buddy Murphy, AOP, and the Viking Raiders once Rollins adopted a new persona as the "Monday Night Messiah." At WrestleMania, this feud will finally come to a head as Owens and Rollins will face off one-on-one.

The Undertaker Vs. AJ Styles

AJ Styles was poised to win the Gauntlet match at Super ShowDown until The Undertaker came in, made quick work of Styles, and won the match. Styles spent the next few weeks targeting "The Deadman"  by mocking him and his wife, Michelle McCool. Styles eventually challenged The Undertaker to a Boneyard match at WrestleMania. While the details on what that stipulation entails are still up in the air, it should be a sight to behold when two of the all-time greats clash for the first time.

John Morrison & The Miz (c) Vs. The New Day Vs. The Usos

At Super ShowDown, John Morrison and The Miz beat The New Day to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. On the March 27 installment of SmackDown, The Usos and The New Day faced off to see which team would challenge for the titles at WrestleMania, but Miz and Morrison attacked both teams during the match. It was announced immediately afterward that all three teams would compete for the titles at WrestleMania in a ladder match.

Bayley (c) vs. Lacey Evans Vs. Naomi Vs. Sasha Banks Vs. Tamina

Bayley has been making a name for herself as SmackDown Women's Champion. She has taken on all comers up to this point and on the March 20th edition of SmackDown, it was revealed that she will be taking on all comers once again...all at once, that is. Paige announced that Bayley will be defending the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania against Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke, Tamina, Naomi and Sasha Banks. Unfortunately, Dana Brooke had to be pulled from the match, but Bayley will still be defending her title against the other four at WrestleMania.

John Cena Vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt

Cena initially stated that he was going to sit this year's WrestleMania out -- that is, until he came face to face with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. Wyatt blamed Cena for the birth of "The Fiend" after Cena defeated him at WrestleMania 30, and challenged him to a "Firefly Fun House" match. The details have not been fully revealed exactly what that will mean. Nevertheless, it's safe to say that this match will be completely different than their previous WrestleMania encounter.

Becky Lynch (c) Vs. Shayna Baszler

Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler have both proved to be dominant champions. Baszler made it clear who she was targeting when she attacked Lynch from behind and bit her neck on the February 10 installment of Raw. She went on to dominate the Elimination Chamber match, becoming the number one contender for the title by eliminating every other competitor in the match. This will be Baszler's first WrestleMania match. Will she continue her dominant streak or will "The Man" be able to successfully defend the title she won at last year's WrestleMania?

Rhea Ripley (c) Vs. Charlotte Flair

When Charlotte Flair won the women's Royal Rumble match Rhea Ripley issued a challenge to Flair to take her on for the NXT title. After many weeks of taunting and brawling, Flair finally accepted Ripley's challenge. No matter which one proves victorious, history will be made as an NXT title will be defended at WrestleMania for the first time ever.

Brock Lesnar (c) Vs. Drew McIntyre

Back in 2009, Vince McMahon named Drew McIntyre "the chosen one," but nothing much came of McIntyre's first stint in WWE. After parting ways with the company in 2014, he returned to the WWE in 2017 a changed man. McIntyre has really proven himself over the last three years, culminating with his winning the men's Royal Rumble match in January. The first man he eliminated in the match was none other than the WWE Champion himself, Brock Lesnar. McIntyre quickly challenged Lesnar to a title match, in what could turn out to be the defining moment of his career.

Goldberg (c) Vs. Roman Reigns

After Goldberg won the Universal Championship from Bray Wyatt at Super ShowDown, he asked who was next and Reigns wasted no time accepting Goldberg's challenge. The Big Dog has reportedly had to pull out of the match due to health reasons, and is rumored to be replaced by Braun Strowman. This would be a huge opportunity for Strowman to show he belongs in the championship scene.
