While it's hard to narrow down which WrestleMania is the best, this year's "Showcase of the Immortals" will surely go down as the weirdest. There are 16 matches on the card, and not a single person is going to see them live.

No one is allowed in the WWE Performance Center, where WrestleMania 36 is being taped, on account of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Some of the matches are destined to be great, but there are sure to be a few clunkers on the card as well. Let's take a look at the bouts, from best and most anticipated to the absolute worst.

Edge vs. Randy Orton (Last Man Standing Match)

It's hard to top a match with two icons duking it out in the most brutal match on the card. Edge will be making his highly-anticipated singles return at Show of Shows after spending the past nine years in retirement. Orton, meanwhile, has been at the top of his game and as vicious as ever. For "The Viper," this serves as a chance to get back into the title picture, but a win for Edge would reignite his career. The match will likely get the most time on the card, so expect to see huge spots, countless weapons and some sick and twisted savagery.

WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre

Vince McMahon's "chosen one," Drew McIntyre finally gets his turn in the spotlight following years of ups and downs with his character and a brief stint outside the company. He has a tough task ahead of him, though, in the form of "The Beast" Brock Lesnar. The magnitude of the match and sheer ferocity that is expected to come from both men makes it one of the best on the card. McIntyre is the odds on favorite to go over, but we've seen Lesnar walk out of worse situations with the title.

The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles (Boneyard Match)

When it comes to fan service, this one's got it all. The Undertaker's likely return as the "American Badass," AJ Styles' big WrestleMania moment and the debut of a new match. It's just a shame that there will be no one there to watch it. Depending on the stipulations, don't expect this to be for the faint of heart. Some of Undertaker's best beatdowns have come at the Show of Shows. Undertaker is always a favorite to win at WrestleMania, but this could also be a significant opportunity for AJ Styles to come out on top.

John Cena vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (Firefly Fun House Match)

Another match where one of the participants has come full-circle. Bray Wyatt will be trying to avenge his loss to Cena at WrestleMania 30, while Cena will be attempting to protect his legacy. We have no idea what the Firefly Funhouse entails, only that it may not take place at the Performance Center. Either way, WWE is building this match to be a huge deal.

Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn vs. Daniel Bryan

In what will likely be the most technical match on the card, Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan square off for the only mid-card title on the line at WrestleMania. Both will have help on the outside, with Zayn remaining allied with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro, while Bryan has recently allied with Drew Gulak. This isn't just Sami Zayn's first singles match in ages, but his first singles match at WrestleMania period, but his victory at the show is far from guaranteed.

Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

WWE Superstars Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens battle on Raw.

While this feud has had its moments, things are starting to get a little stale. Too much of the same old stuff. But at the end of the day, it's still Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins  two of the best in the business. The match is sure to be an entertaining one.

NXT Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair

This match could very well be a show-stealer, especially with the way Flair has performed on the big stage in the past. Ripley deserves to get the win here, but Flair doesn't lose often. Maybe WWE elevates title  and NXT as a whole  by putting the belt on a household name for a little while. Expect Flair and Ripley to pull out all the stops, with multiple high-risk moves being performed throughout the match.

Raw Women's Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler

Another stout matchup between two women who have built up loads of momentum. You've got The Man, Becky Lynch, last year's WrestleMania main event winner, coming into the show looking stronger than ever after fending off numerous challengers. Baszler, the Queen of Spades, is arguably the most dominant title challenger  man or woman — in WrestleMania history. It's hard to pick against Baszler, but maybe she's being built up to make Lynch look even more powerful after she beats her.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship (Ladder Match)

There were reports that this match was changed, but nothing was mentioned on SmackDown. If it does go on, it could be another show-stealer. These are three teams with tons of experience in WWE, especially in ladder matches. Miz and Morrison will most likely retain the titles here and continue their hot streak on SmackDown.

Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley

By far, the most random match on the card. Black was tied up with The OC and AJ Styles until Undertaker got involved, at which point he seemed to stop caring. Meanwhile, Lashley hasn't been on TV since his disastrous storyline with Lana. Both competitors can put on a hell of a brutal match, but with zero build-up before the show, who cares?

Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler

It's been one of the hottest and most heartbreaking storylines in WWE: The Saga of Mandy Rose and Otis. Ziggler schemed his way into Rose's life several weeks ago, and Otis just hasn't been the same. SmackDown revealed that Sonya Deville had played some role in this, secretly ruining the date Otis had planned with Mandy, but Otis is still focused solely on Ziggler. Expect him to get his revenge at Mania.

Universal Championship: Goldberg vs. Braun Strowman

Many fans would have placed this match in the bottom tier regardless of who Goldberg faced, but the shift in booking has made it downright disastrous. Goldberg vs. Reigns had some appeal, but putting Goldberg up against Braun Strowman doesn't seem like the best of ideas when looking at the champ's track record with big men. WWE will likely give Goldberg the win in quick and dominant fashion, but the real loser here probably remains to be Bray Wyatt, who lost his world title and doesn't seem to care.

Elias vs. King Corbin

On any other show, this would be a pre-show match. But for WrestleMania, this one has managed to sneak it's way on the main card, thanks to the company needing to fill two nights of content. Hopefully, there will be some sort of ridiculous Rob Gronkowski run-in, where he does his funky dance and tackles somebody, to keep everyone from falling asleep.

Raw Tag Team Championship: The Street Profits vs. Angel Garza & Austin Theory

This match will have its moments, and be a great way of showcasing the future of the tag team division and Raw. But it could have been a lot better. U.S. Champion Andrade was supposed to be Garza's partner but was pulled due to an injury. The match is emblematic of a major problem with the tag division in WWE, given Street Profits won the title but have no evident tag team competition.

SmackDown Women's Championship: Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match

WWE Superstars Sasha Banks and Bayley on MizTV

The reason this match is considered one of the worst is because of bad booking. Why not just let Banks and Bayley go up against each other? Instead, we get a jumbled up mess. There's a lot of good talent in this match, but don't expect anyone other than Bayley or Banks to win.

Women's Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

This is one of the first Women's Tag Team Championship matches in what seems like an eternity. Despite being introduced as the next step of the Women's Revolution, the belts have become little more than props in record time. It's about time that Asuka and Kairi Sane drop the belts, but the problem remains: who challenges for the belts next?
