Connie Nielsen will reprise her "Wonder Woman" role as Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, in director Zack Snyder's "Justice League."

The news arrives in Warner Bros. press kit, which also confirms that Jesse Eisenberg will return to his "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" role as Lex Luthor. The actor essentially said has much in May, when he revealed that he was waiting for his "crack" at "Justice League," which had only then begun filming in London.

They're part of an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck as BAtman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Raymond Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.

Written by Chris Terrio from a story by Terrio and Snyder, "Justice League" follows Bruce Wayne who, inspired by Superman's selfless act, enlists his newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman swiftly assemble a team of metahumans -- Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg -- to stand against a newly awakened threat, even as they discover it may be too late to save Earth from a catastrophic assault.
