It will come as no surprise to many that when it comes to DC's roster of heroes, Wonder Woman is one of the strongest amongst them. The Amazonian warrior has proven time and time again that she is a powerhouse hero that should not be taken lightly. However, is she the strongest of them all?

When it comes to the DCEU's case, there's certainly a case to be made. Today, we'll look at ten reasons that Wonder Woman is the strongest DCEU hero, even besting Superman himself (well... sometimes).

10 No Man's Land

Would any list about Wonder Woman's badassery be complete without mentioning the No Man's Land scene? The battle that turned Diana Prince into the Wonder Woman herself was a sight to behold for moviegoers.

In just a few seconds the scene managed to completely showcase her full array of powers, as she advances the frontline of the army while deflecting bullets left and right with ease. What other hero do you know that's out there casually changing the landscape of World War I?

9 Saving The Town

After ya know, rewriting history, Diana then saves the neighboring town from the Germans with relative ease. She and the Wonder Men take down the Germans occupying the town, with a beautiful shield jump capping off the fight.

The town quickly views her as their savior, as none of this would have ever been possible without her help. Even with all this, she is certainly still rivaled in power with a certain DCEU hero.

8 Superman Fight

While it is obvious that the Justice League movie significantly depowered Diana throughout the film, she still manages to somewhat hold her own in the fight against Zombieman, something that none of the other League members managed to do.

The fact of the matter is that Superman was holding nothing back, while the League members weren't trying to completely end Superman, just subdue him. So, while he did headbutt her directly into the ground (ow), she managed to handle him the most out of all the other members, which is saying something.

7 Taking Down Ares

So while she didn't manage to take down Superman, she did take down the literal God of War, so that's certainly something.

After unleashing her true God Killer powers (after the death of Steve Trevor), she and Ares face-off in a massive battle that eventually ends with Diana's victory. The battle is hard-fought, and it takes Diana's full strength to take him down. This battle is the conclusion of World War I.

6 She Stops World War I

The entire point of Diana's journey in Wonder Woman was to journey to the world of man and save them from the destruction that the war would cause.

With the help of Steve and the other Wonder Men, Diana tracks down the God of War (a simple task we all do every now and then) and takes him down. This ends the war and saves millions of lives. It also looks like she's up to stop the Cold War in Wonder Woman 1984.

5 Amazon Training

Part of the reason that Diana is so formidable is due to her training as an Amazon warrior. The warrior women go through extensive training to make them some of the most powerful soldiers out there.

Diana has more formal training than anyone in the Justice League, so it comes as no surprise that she can battle any of them with ease (she does manage to take down Superman in the comics many times). When you've got access to training as intense as this, you're bound to be at least a little powerful.

4 The Doomsday Battle

The Doomsday battle in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Edge was a difficult one that eventually ended with the death of Superman. Diana came to the aid of Batman and Superman in this battle, and was truly the most effective out of the three throughout.

While Superman was the one that eventually dealt the final blow, Diana was a huge part of keeping Doomsday down and allowing Superman to grab the Kryptonian weapon that finished the battle. If Diana wasn't there, this battle would have ended with the death of not just Superman, but two heroes.

3 She Saved Batman

You couldn't have made a splashier entrance into this battle, as Wonder Woman drops into the battle at just the right time to save Batman from an attack from Doomsday. If she hadn't been there... well he was literally cowering in fear so he clearly wasn't going to be saving himself.

So besides her contributions to the final fight, she also managed to keep Batman safe, something that the Caped Crusader wasn't actually capable of doing himself.

2 Her Incredible Knowledge

Besides the sheer power that Wonder Woman holds, she's also incredibly smart. The Amazons don't just focus on the physical side of things, they never slack when it comes to academics.

Wonder Woman is able to easily read Dr. Poision's notebook (something that no one else in the room is able to do) and decrypt what the chemist said. Diana can read just about any language she needs to, which is no easy feat. When you have someone with the intelligence of Diana on your side, you've got a powerhouse on your team.

1 Compassion

While Batman is out here branding people in the Snyderverse (because he wasn't edgy enough as is), Wonder Woman has something that the other members of the Trinity didn't, compassion.

Throughout the length of her solo movie, Wonder Woman strives to see the best in humanity, even in the midst of a massive war. She knows that there is good in people, and hopes that defeating Ares will reveal this. No matter the horrors that she sees mankind commit, she never gives up on them. Wonder Woman is the physical embodiment of hope and compassion, and neither Batman or Superman shares that characteristic with her.
