Sci Fi Wire talked to some of the cast and crew on the Paul Anderson sci fi thriller, who let on that there'll be a very physical feel to the movie. "The previous films have always been very tactile and kind of close quarters, and AVP will be no different," said Alec Gillis from Amalgamated Dynamics, who created the makeup and creature effects for "Alien Resurrection" and "Starship Troopers," among other SF films. "The first couple of movies [there] was basically a guy in a suit," said Woodruff, who wore alien suits in "Alien 3" and "Alien Resurrection" and plays the lead alien in AVP . "Now, on this film, we have more opportunities to do more with facial hydraulics as well as a completely hydraulic version of the alien."

Kryptonsite has a summary of comments made by Lex Luthor himself, Michael Rosenbaum at last weekend's Creation Con in Pasadena, CA. He discusses the intense process he used to work in episodes like "Shattered" and "Asylum." "To help himself remember details of how advanced Lex's psychosis should be at any given point in the episode, he created a time chart for himself as a reminder of what emotions to project during scenes. 'It was chilling. I didn't sleep a lot. I really went home at night and stayed up late and came into work with these big bags under my eyes and looked like hell. I really went the whole nine yards.'"

DVD Answers has a set of specs on the June 1st deluxe edition of "Spider-Man," returning to home video.
