As the titular character in Disney+'s The Mandalorian and the villain in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film, Wonder Woman 1984, Pedro Pascal gets to work with some pretty impressive costars. However, not even Baby Yoda adorability is enough to match Gal Gadot's charm.
"I would take Gal over any creature in the universe," Pascal told Entertainment Weekly's "Heroes Issue." "But Baby Yoda is not too shabby, a very easy-going scene partner. He also makes me feel very tall — and needed."
Pascal will star as Maxwell Lord in Patty Jenkins' sequel to Wonder Woman. The film will see Lord team up with Kristen Wiig's Cheetah as they face off against Gadot's Wonder Woman and Chris Pine's Steve Trevor. Due to the coronavirus, the film has seen its premiere date shift from June to August to October.
The Mandalorian premiered in November on Disney+. Unlike most projects, the second season has not been delayed due to the virus and is still on schedule for its October 2020 premiere.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Season 1 is available now on Disney+, with Season 2 premiering in October.
Directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film arrives in theaters Oct. 2.
