With Captain Marvel hitting theaters this weekend, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins sent her support to "team Captain Marvel" ahead of the movie's release.The message came via Twitter, with Jenkins congratulating the Captain Marvel team. While some fans pit Marvel against DC, Jenkins' Tweet proves that rivalry doesn't always extend behind the scenes. Jenkins, who once almost directed Thor: The Dark World, is now in the process of wrapping the sequel to her successful Wonder Woman movie.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Yon-Rogg, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos and Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau. The film arrives on March 8.
