This year, Wonder Woman turns 75. In order to celebrate this important milestone, DC Comics has unveiled the logo celebrating her 75th anniversary, to go along with her commemorative books, box sets and more.

"There's no better time than now," DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson told People, which announced the new logo. "The overall conversation that's happening in our culture right now -- about having stronger gender equality representation in media and in government and in education and all of it just makes it the perfect time to see a character like Wonder Woman out there."

The new logo arrives on the heels of recently announced Wonder Woman merchandise, including a SDCC-exclusive Wonder Woman Barbie as well as a 3.75-inch Wonder Woman figure in packaging molded to look like her classic invisible jet. Additionally, Valentino debuted a special Wonder Woman capsule collection that boasts coats, jeans and handbags, while Converse has released a limited-edition leather Wonder Woman sneaker.

DC Comics released similar logos for Superman and Batman in 2013 and 2014 respectively; both showed the character's silhouette or logo with the 75 milestone etched inside of it. Likewise, Wonder Woman's logo includes the anniversary number and highlights her defining features (tiara, logo, etc) through cutouts.

The Amazon warrior will also soon appear in her very own feature film; Warner Bros.' "Wonder Woman," which is currently filming, is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 2, 2017.
