Wonder Woman, DC Comics iconic Amazonian warrior, finally joins Fortnite.

Announced via an official blog post, Wonder Woman is exchanging Paradise Island for the Fortnite Island. Diana Prince dons her armor to fight back against the ongoing alien invasion and finally completes the DC Trinity. She will be available alongside her colleagues Superman and Batman, both of whom were already featured skins. Players will be able to purchase Wonder Woman in the Item Shop from Aug. 19.

Wonder Woman will come with a full set of cosmetics, including the Golden Eagle Wings Glider, Athena's Battleaxe, DC Trinity Loading Screen and Diana's Mantle Back Bling (which comes in two variants). The Wonder Woman skin also features an Armored variant.

As can be expected, Fortnite is celebrating Diana's arrival with the Wonder Woman Cup. An online Duo's tournament, players have three hours to complete up to 10 matches and earn points based on their performance. The squad with the most points will each receive the Wonder Woman outfit and Diana's Mantle Back Bling before the items hit the shop. Teams that manage to acquire at least eight points will unlock the Honorary Amazons Loading Screen.

As is customary, players who wish to enter the Wonder Woman Cup will need to activate Two-Factor Authentication on their Epic Account, which also needs to be over level 30. The competition kicks off on Aug. 18, a day before the skin's official release.

Wonder Woman's announcement is another in a long line of DC Comics crossovers in Fortnite. Most recently, Bloodsport from The Suicide Squad joined the battle royale to promote James Gunn's latest film. Superman was added as a part of the game's Battle Pass while Batman dropped onto the Island to promote the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic book.

Leap into action as Wonder Woman in Fortnite, which is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices.
