A new international trailer for Wonder Woman features a few brief moments of new footage including a blink-and-you'll-miss-it glimpse of the DC Comics icon throwing down with what's likely the film's villain, Ares.

While largely comprised of previously seen footage, this latest trailer does offer a few new moments, including Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman facing off against Dr. Poison (Elena Anaya), new shots of Themyscira and a fleeting glimpse of the god of war.

The fourth film in Warner Bros.' rapidly expanding DC Extended Universe, Wonder Woman has generated an early positive response, is on track for a $65 million opening weekend, on part with Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor.

Set during World War I, Wonder Woman centers on the early days of Diana, Princess of the Amazons. After Steve Trevor, an American fighter pilot, washes up on the shores of secluded island paradise of Themyscira, Diana makes the decision to leave the island and join the massive conflict tearing through the outside world.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script from Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui and David Thewlis. The film opens June 2.
