New Wonder Woman Hot Toys Figure Puts Gal Gadot in Comic Costume

Hot Toys' new Wonder Woman collectible figure puts Gal Gadot in a comics-inspired costume.

This design comes on the heels of the Deluxe Version, expected to ship this month. The Comic Concept Version includes a costume that mixes elements of Gadot's Wonder Woman from 2017's Justice League, and harks back to the earliest days of the comic book icon, with design nods to artist Harry G. Peter. Hot Toys added the recognizable star-spangled print from the character's original culottes and has turned the colors up, making the red and blues more vibrant than on the other Justice League figure.

The stylized collectible is a special release and part of the Justice League line. The 1/6th-scale figure stands a little less than 11.5 inches tall, and features 17 points of articulation. It features fabric hair, a silver tiara, a navy blue scarf, and an iconic battle suit with weathered boots. Plus, a number of weapons and accessories are included, such as an engraved sword, a shield, a bendable gold-hued rope (aka the Lasso of Truth), Bracelets of Submission, four magnetic bullet sparkling effects attachable to the bracelets, and a specially designed hexagonal figure stand.

No release date has been announced, but the Justice League Wonder Woman (Comic Concept Version) figure will be available for preorder at Sideshow Collectibles.
