Wonder Woman is a cultural icon. She is a hero for every woman and little girl fighting in this world. She is a figure that people look up to and fawn over. She has been in comics for a long time and has gone through several redesigns throughout the years. From movies, tv shows, comics, and web series, she has had a ton of different lives and lots of fighting.

Wonder Woman is a warrior. The only thing that makes sense for her to wear is battle armor, but in a lot of different renditions, she is wearing the completely opposite: bras and thongs. Not only is she rarely dressed for a fight, but she's rarely dressed at all. Here is Wonder Woman: 5 Best Costumes(& 5 Worst)

10 Worst: The Challenge Of Artemis

The Challenge of Artemis is an arc from 1995 written by William Messner-Loeb and illustrated by MikeDeodato. This was a new turn for the character. She was no longer known as Wonder Woman as her title was taken by Artemis. When she had no home to go to, she went back to earth and became a new hero in Boston.

When Artemis took the mantle of Wonder Woman, she also took Diana's sense of style. With the blue jacket, bra, combat boots, and biker shorts, she looks like a WWE wrestler. While the costume has some hints of the original costume, it just isn't enough.

9 Best: DC Super Hero Girls

DC Superhero Girls started as a web series primarily portraying the girls from DC comics. With teenaged characters attending Metropolis High School and living lives as superheroes, their lives are pretty hectic. The series ended in 2018 but got rebooted on Cartoon Network as a full show in 2019.

In the 2019 reboot, they redesigned Diana with her classic skirt and tank top combo. One thing they added is two giant star earrings, which really pulls the whole look together. This costume is also very reminiscent of her Rebirth costume and looks super cute and stylish.

8 Worst: Fall Of Sinestro

Sinestro Vol 4: The Fall of Sinestro is the combination of issue #16-23. This was written by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Andrew Hennessy, Bradley Walker, Neil Edwards, Szymon Kudranski, and Ethan Van Sciver. The Green lanterns are in trouble and the only corps running smoothly are the Yellow Lanterns. Now the Earth needs their help.

Wonder Woman had to join the Sinestro group and it is not a good look for her. The black and the yellow make her look like a bee and the lantern symbol on her chest looks very uncomfortable and ridiculous.

7 Best: JLA: Our Worlds At War

JLA: Our Worlds at War is a long crossover comic that came out in 2001. It was written by a variety of writers and illustrators over the event's duration. It was a full-fledged war between Earth and their heroes and the entity known as Imperiex.

Wonder Woman brought some heavy-duty armor to protect the Earth. The armor is made entirely up of a shimmering gold color, except for the American flag draped around her neck like a scarf. Her helmet is a golden eagle that encapsulates her head. This costume even has wings! Wonder Woman means business in this get-up.

6 Worst: White Lantern

The white lanterns were a part of the Blackest Night arc that in 2009. The white lanterns have the power to raise the dead and are extremely rare as Hal Jordan is the reason behind their creation. Almost all the heroes became a white lantern, of which Wonder Woman is included.

While the sequence of becoming the white lanterns was cool, it did not turn out well for Wonder Woman's costume in the end. It is all white. The insignia, shoes, headband... all white. There is nothing to break up the color. It is just a lazy design.

5 Best: Justice League War

Justice League War is an animated version of the Geoff Jonh's comic Justice League: Origins. The movie came out in 2015 with a straight-to-DVD release. The Justice League is formed for the first time in the movie, all to defeat Earth's latest invader: Darkseid.

Wonder Woman's costume is mostly made up of the classic leotard, but with a twist. The torso is red, but the bottom is blue with a turtle neck and thigh-high boots. It is a great spin on her classic costume for this animated movie. It is tactical and she should have no problem defeating alien scum in it.

4 Worst: Star Sapphire

Wonder Woman became a Star Sapphire in the Blackest Night storyline. Wonder Woman came to possess the ring because no one loves the earth as much as her.

This arc had no love for a Wonder Woman with style. It is sweet that she became a star sapphire because of her strong love for the earth, but her costume is hideous and downright demeaning for the character. While she's wearing the pink color, there is hardly enough fabric to protect from anything. Diana can wear whatever she wants, but this just does not seem protective during one of the biggest battles in comic history.

3 Best: Wonder Woman (2017)

Wonder Woman finally got a leading role on the big screen in 2017 with the release of Wonder Woman. It takes place in 1918 when she joins the fight in World War II against Germany.

This costume is awesome on the big screen and Gal Gadot is the perfect woman to portray such an important character to so many fans. This iteration depicts her in the skirt, which is made of red and blue leather. She also rocks some killer knee-high gold and red boots, making Hitler and Aries' go down that much easier.

2 Worst: The Bermuda Triangle Crisis

In the classic 1970's Wonder Woman tv show, Diana had a costume for every event and the episode Bermuda Triangle crisis is no different. In this fourth episode of the second season, Diana has to stop Paradise Island from becoming a missile test site.

Wonder Women spins right into this blue one-piece wetsuit ready to take to the seas. It is all blue with a hood and tiara design, cuffs on the hands, and a blue star pattern on the neck. It is the worst thing Diana has had the pleasure of putting on.

1 Best: New 52

The best costume, hands down, is her New 52 redesign in 2011. In the reworked universe, Diana learns that she is not born out of clay, but is the offspring of Zeus.

This costume is amazing and looks like something a legitimate warrior would wear into battle. With the long sleeve shirt under her breastplate, blue pants, and thigh-high boots, she looks like she can take on anyone - including the emotional trauma of learning that your back story for over 75 years is all a lie.
