In celebration of International Women's Day, DC and Warner Media are honoring Wonder Woman's 80th birthday by announcing a plethora of new content, comics, fashion and more, including a 100-page comic with new art and stories featuring DC's Champion of Truth.

"Believe in Wonder" is a multi-month campaign starting on March 8 (International Women's Day) that will culminate in a worldwide celebration for Wonder Woman Day on Oct. 21. According to a statement released by DC, Warner Bros. Global Brands and Experiences and WarnerMedia, "the 80th Anniversary celebration illuminates [Wonder Woman's] timeless and relevant message of hope and empowerment with original content, commemorative comics, books and global fashion collections and experiences."

DC released Wonder Woman's new logo in 2020 in preparation for her 80th anniversary. Now, one of many items announced today was the Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Spectacular, a hundred-page "collectible keepsake" and tribute to the Amazonian hero. The book will feature original art and stories from some of the best-known artists and storytellers in comics, including Eisner Award-winning artist Yanick Paquette and will be available on Oct. 21.

With the announcement of the Spectacular also comes the news that starting today, the original Wonder Woman comics are available to read for free on DC Universe Infinite. This includes her first appearance in All-Star Comics #8, her first headliner with Sensation Comics #1 and Wonder Woman #1 (1942). Every month, different Wonder Woman stories will be available to read for free on DC Universe Infinite as well. Also announced was a Wonderful Women of History anthology to be released Sept. 28 and Sensational Wonder Woman Vol. 1 for release on Oct. 5.

As part of the "Believe in Wonder" campaign, the original 1975 Wonder Woman television series received a "retro remix" video with Gal Gadot doing Lynda Carter's signature spin. For the rest of March, Wonder Woman (2017) as well as every episode of the Wonder Woman TV series starring Carter will be available to stream on HBO Max. Wonder Woman 1984 will also release digitally and physically this month.

Also part of the "Believe in Wonder" campaign is another video released by DC and WarnerMedia that features 80 "real-life superheroes," showcasing many powerful women (journalists, cultural figures, influencers, celebrities and more) who are "advancing representation in their fields."

Several new Wonder Woman-inspired fashion collections are now available as well, like Venus Williams' "I Am Wonder Woman" activewear line, as well as a limited, luxury collection from Australian designer Camilla. Award-winning designer Azede Jean-Pierre will also release a collection featuring never-before-seen Wonder Woman artwork later in March. For fans who would like to support the "Believe in Wonder" campaign in style, an exclusive 80th-anniversary t-shirt is available for purchase from DC.

The Diana-related content seems never-ending, as DC will continue to release custom Wonder Woman art throughout 2021. Other digital content includes Wonder Woman "Digital Stories" available now on Google Assistant and special promotions all year long for games like DC Universe Online, Injustice 2 and DC Legends. 

Bringing the celebration into the real world, DC will also be partnering with Rugged Races for the DC Wonder Woman Virtual Run for the second year in a row, for which registration opens in July.
