Wonder Woman 2 won't arrive in theaters until November 2019, but that hasn't stopped fans from speculating about which villain Gal Gadot's heroine will face. Cheetah, the DC Comics icon's arch-nemesis, is of course a popular choice -- and one Emmy Award winner has already thrown her hat into the ring to play the role.

One fan suggested in a tweet to Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins that Sarah Paulson or Charlize Theron would be "perfect" to cast as Cheetah in the Warner Bros. sequel. Paulson, best known for her roles on American Horror Story and The People v. O.J. Simpson, agreed. "Yes please," she replied in a message directed at Jenkins.

Although there have been four different Cheetahs since 1943, each with her own origin, the most popular one is archaeologist Barbara Ann Minerva. Created in 1987 by Len Wein and George Perez, she was cursed with the powers of a cheetah after a failed ritual, and has since wanted to defeat Diana as a matter of pride. Her most prominent media appearances were in the Justice League animated series (and its sequel, Justice League Unlimited), and a playable character in this year's Injustice 2.

Whoever ends up facing off against Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman 2, we won't know until we're closer to the film's Nov. 1, 2019, release date.
