With this year's San Diego Comic-Con only two weeks away, the lineup for the premier pop culture event is beginning to surface.
While Marvel Studios won't have a presence at Hall H this year, there are still plenty of panels focused on major upcoming films with many of them comic book-related. While the programming lineup for the entire weekend hasn't been officially announced yet, several studios are expected to have eagerly anticipated panel presentations.
Wonder 1984 headlines Warner Bros.'s panels with star Gal Gadot expected to take a quick break from filming the sequel to make an appearance. The studio will also provide first looks at other future DCEU films including Shazam! and Aquaman with the latter reported to debut their first trailer at the panel.
As previously reported, Friday's Hall H presentations have been announced with Sony's panels including Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Paramount presenting Bumblebee, and Universal's panels focused on Halloween and Glass.
New Line plans to bring the horror to Horton Grand Theatre on Wednesday, July 18 at 9:30 PM PST. The studio's presentation will provide an update on next year's It: Chapter Two and an extended look at the upcoming Conjuring spinoff The Nun.
Fox's Hall H presentation is scheduled for Thursday, July 19 at 10:30 AM and is expected to focus solely on this September's The Predator. Filmmaker Shane Black is expected to appear along with cast members Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Jake Busey, Yvonne Strahovski, Thomas Jane, and Augusto Aguiliera. Despite releasing two X-Men films next year with Dark Phoenix in February and The New Mutants in August 2019, Fox has not announced plans for either film to have a presence at Comic-Con this year.
This year's San Diego Comic-Con International will be held from Wednesday, July 18 to Sunday, July 22 at the San Diego Convention Center. Stayed tuned in the coming weeks for news straight from SDCC 2018.
