In advance of the movie's first trailer being released at Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, a teaser for that Wonder Woman 1984 footage is now online.Star Gal Gadot tweeted out a short teaser showing some of the action fans can expect in the film, including a sequence that seems to take place in the White House. While Wonder Woman 1984 completed principal photography nearly a full year ago, details have been kept under wraps as the film. However, the movie will see Gadot's Diana Prince take on two new villains: Maxwell Lord and Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah. Chris Pine will also reprise his role as Steve Trevor in the film despite his apparent death at the end of Wonder Woman.

The original Wonder Woman released in 2017 and earned $821.8 million at the worldwide box office, setting numerous records in the process. The film received positive reviews, and a sequel was eventually greenlit.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as Diana, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film opens on June 5, 2020.
