Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot tweeted a simple message to fans about staying safe while dealing with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic: "#wearamask"

The tweet included an undated black-and-white photo of Gadot from a film set with her face suitably covered. The actor is also clad in a robe and sporting Wonder Woman's iconic tiara. However, it isn't clear from the image if this is from the set of Wonder Woman 1984.

Wonder Woman 1984 was initially slated for a November 2019 release, which was moved to December and then to June 2020. In the wake of coronavirus shutdowns around the world and studio Warner Bros.' need to find a place on the schedule for director Christopher Nolan's Tenet, the Wonder Woman 1984 release was then moved to August and once again to October. Tenet, starring John David Washington, also had several different release dates and was eventually pulled from the schedule entirely, with Warner Bros. saying its new date will be shared "imminently."

Directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film arrives in theaters Oct. 2.
