Wonder Woman 1984 Set Photos Show Kristen Wiig Fighting Attacker

New set photos from Wonder Woman 1984 show Kristen Wiig's Barbara Minerva in action, though she's not Cheetah yet.

The pictures, which come from the Daily Mail, were taken in Hyde Park, London. They show Minerva fighting off an attacker, though it's not clear why.

A first look at Wiig as Minerva appeared in June. A set video from July provided a first look at the character as Cheetah, her alter-ego.

Wonder Woman 1984 officially began principal photography this past May with filming expected to continue through November. As suggested by the title, the sequel will be set in the 1980s with the DC superhero facing a new villain in Wiig’s Cheetah/Minerva. Pedro Pascal is also set to appear in the film, though his role is currently unknown and the subject of much speculation. The film's biggest mystery, of course, is how Pine’s Steve Trevor, who sacrificed himself at the end of the original film, is back — and in fighting form.
