With Wonder Woman 1984's release less than four months away, a new wave of official stills from the upcoming DC Extended Universe film offers a better look at Diana Prince's new armor as well as the sequel's villains.

Released by Entertainment Weekly, the photos reveal a high-resolution look at Gal Gadot in Diana's Golden Eagle armor, inspired by Alex Ross' design for the comic book storyline Kingdom Come. Other photos show more of Chris Pine's mysterious return as Steve Trevor and Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal as the film's primary antagonists.

With Steve as a World War I fighter pilot, a photo seemingly reveals Diana taking her long-lost paramour to the National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C., to marvel at the advances in aviation since his untimely demise at the end of the previous film. Another photo shows Barbera Minerva and Maxwell Lord apparently working together, studying a strange artifact on a desk.

While only a single theatrical trailer for the film has been released to date, the upcoming sequel recently topped a Fandango poll as the most anticipated film of 2020. Judging by the new photos, the sequel will be bigger, bolder and more colorful than its 2017 predecessor.
