Make way for the Invisible Jet! A new video from the set of Wonder Woman 1984 appears to show Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince riding an invisible vehicle down the street in the middle of traffic.
The video picks up with Gadot hanging in a harness above some 1980s-style cars. When the camera starts rolling, Gadot moves into a sitting position. Then, she and she camera zoom down the street as she takes in her surroundings.

Since the vehicle is invisible, it’s unclear if this is truly Wonder Woman’s signature Invisible Jet. Seeing as she’s riding so low down a busy street, it may be an invisible car instead of a plane, perhaps in homage to the Invisible Jet. However, the Invisible Jet is the best bet, since it’s been a part of the character’s mythology for so long.
The Invisible Jet has been a staple of Wonder Woman comics since the the very beginning, debuting with the character in Sensation Comics #1 by William Marston and H.G. Peter. It has appeared in other mediums as well, from the comics to the 1975 live-action series starring Lynda Carter to animated series like Super Friends. Wonder Woman 1984 looks to continue that trend, if the video above is any indication.
As the title suggests, the sequel will see a time-jump as Diana moves ahead from the events of the first film, which saw Diana in 1917 trying to end World War I by defeating Ares. While details remain sparse concerning the sequel, we know Diana’s next foe will be Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah.
Directed by Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 1, 2019.
