Although filming kicked off just last week, it appears Wonder Woman 1984 is headed to Comic-Con International in San Diego this year.

Deadline reports that Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot will be on hand at San Diego Comic-Con this year to promote Wonder Woman 1984. Plans are still very much in the works and could always fall through, but it looks likely that Gadot will make a "surprise" appearance at the convention to tease the highly-anticipated sequel. Should plans work out, Gadot is expected to bring a first look at Wonder Woman 1984 along with her, although it's worth noting that it's not entirely clear what kind of tease the actress will have for fans.

With Marvel Studios opting to skip Comic-Con International this year, Warner Bros. is taking full-advantage of its Hall H presentation. Along with a possible first look at Wonder Woman 1984, the studio is confirmed to unveil the first trailer for this year's Aquaman during its presentation. It also looks as though the first look at Shazam! will debut in Hall H, although that's still unconfirmed for the time being.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 1, 2019.
