Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot received a much larger paycheck for the upcoming sequel than she did for the original 2017 DC Extended Universe film.

According to Vanity Fair, Gadot reportedly earned $10 million for Wonder Woman 1984 -- 33.33 times more than the $300,000 she earned for Wonder Woman.

When Gadot signed her three-picture deal with Warner Bros. in 2014, it was reported that she would earn $300,000 each for  Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeWonder Woman and Justice League. While this figure resulted in some backlash, it's also believed it doesn't take into account any bonuses based on Wonder Woman's success or possible backend deals. It also falls in line with what fellow superhero film star Chris Evans earned for his first major franchise solo outing, Captain America: The First Avenger. However, even the upgraded $10 million is still considerably less than the typical payday for Gadot's big-name male counterparts in the action movie genre.

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah.

Directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 25.
