Rubies Company Inc. unveiled a new set of children and adult Halloween costumes based on Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman 1984.
Twitter user Mikhail Villarreal posted three Wonder Woman 1984 costume designs on Twitter, which include the Golden Eagle costume, the traditional Wonder Woman costume and a Cheetah costume. It's worth noting that an official look at Barbara Ann Minera/Cheetah's final design in Wonder Woman 1984 has yet to be revealed.
Wonder Woman 1984 will be the fourth DC Extended Universe appearance of Gal Gadot's Diana Prince, who debuted in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and reprised her role in 2017's Wonder Woman and Justice League. The film will also feature the return of Connie Neilsen's Queen Hippolyta and Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, as well as the debut of Maxwell Lord and the aforementioned Cheetah.
As for the reason for two villains in the hero's sequel film, director Patty Jenkins explained that "Cheetah was the villain that we were focused on having in this movie, but then Max Lord, throughout the history of Wonder Woman comics -- he serves a very mechanical purpose, often."
Directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film arrives in theaters Aug. 14.
