As filming continues on Wonder Woman 1984, the movie has added Insecure's Natasha Rothwell in a mysterious role.

Deadline reports Rothwell is set to join the highly-anticipated sequel, with details surrounding her role reportedly being kept under wraps for the time being. Rothwell will join returning stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, as well as fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal.

This is the latest gig for the incredibly busy Rothwell. Not only does she serve as an executive producer on HBO's Insecure, she also acts in the series as Kelli; the series is set to return for its third season next month. Rothwell recently starred in Fox's Love, Simon, where she was dubbed one of the film's breakout stars. She has also appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and has also lent her voice to BoJack Horseman. Wonder Woman 1984 would mark the biggest film role for Rothwell to date.

While not much is known regarding the sequel, we do know that it'll take place in 1984 and see Diana and Steve Trevor miraculously reunite following his death at the end of the first film. We also know that this time around, Diana will take on the villainous Cheetah, played by Wiig -- although it remains to be seen how the two end up clashing.
