Director Patty Jenkins and the cast of Wonder Woman 1984 are really embracing the 1980s setting for the upcoming sequel.In a new behind-the-scenes photo, Jenkins joins stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal recreate the iconic movie poster for John Hughes' coming-of-age classic The Breakfast Club. The actors and director strategically have placed themselves in the same positions as the characters from the seminal 1985 film.

Shared by film writer Fiona Underhill on her Twitter account, the photo appears to have originated on Pascal's Instagram account before being deleted by the actor for undisclosed reasons. Judging by Pascal's outfit, the Narcos actor looks to be in costume based on earlier images of Pascal on set for the DC superhero film.

Between the upcoming sequel, Netflix's Stranger Things, and this December's Transformers solo spinoff Bumblebee set in 1987, it is a fantastic time to be a fan of pop culture from the 1980s.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patell, and Gabriella Wilde. It is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019.
