Artist Dan Hipp gave Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman an '80s makeover in celebration of Wonder Woman 1984In an image posted to Twitter, Batman sports sweatbands, a tank top and a fanny pack bearing the Bat-symbol. Superman wears a pair of the shutter sunglasses, jean shorts and sweatbands. Hipp is an accomplished animator and art director. He was working as art director on Cartoon Network's Teen Titans GO! In addition to animation, he's also designed variant covers for several recent titles, including Action Comics #42, Batman #42 and Justice League United #10.

The plot of Wonder Woman 1984 is still largely unknown. However, the movie will be set in the 1980s and feature the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, despite his apparent death at the end of the first film. Wonder Woman 1984 marks the debuts of a number of actors to the DC Extended Universe, including Kristen Wiig as Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as Diana, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film opens on June 5, 2020.
