Future State: Wonder Woman's Yara Flor is transitioning out of DC's Future State event and into a new ongoing DC series on May 18 titled Wonder Girl.

Writer/artist Joëlle Jones will continue Yara Flor's adventures in Wonder Girl, with colors by Jordie Bellaire and lettering by Clayton Cowles. Yara Flor is the Wonder Woman of Future State, a two-month publishing initiative spinning out of the finale of Dark Nights: Death Metal. With the Multiverse re-established, Future State opens a world of opportunities with a glimpse at possible futures for the DC Universe.

Yara Flor can currently be found in Future State: Wonder Woman by Jones; Future State: Superman/Wonder Woman by writer Dan Watters and artist Leila del Duca; and Future State: Justice League by writer Joshua Williamson and artists Robson Rocha and Daniel Henriques. Yara Flor will also star in a Wonder Girl TV series for The CW, which is described as "a Latina Dreamer who was born of an Amazonian Warrior and a Brazilian River God, learns that she is Wonder Girl, and with her newfound power must fight the evil forces that would seek to destroy the world." The announcement of CW's live-action series in November 2020 also revealed Wonder Girl would be receiving a Future State spinoff comic.
