Marvel's flagship team, the Avengers, are hitting their 700th issue this November in style and chock full of unexpected twists and surprises to mark the occasion.

In a supersized special issue, Earth's mightiest heroes find themselves without allies and multiple superteams from all over the world hunting them from the Namor leading the forces of Atlantis to Wakanda's newest elite organization. In addition to the Avengers becoming targeted all over the globe, the landmark issue also teases secrets behind the resurrection of Wolverine and a new member joining the beleaguered ensemble.

Marvel had relaunched Avengers with writer Jason Aaron and artist Ed McGuinness at the helm this past June with the opening story arc featuring the reassembled team taking on Celestials threatening the planet. As the new team combated the cosmic threat, the untold history of the Avengers of 1,000,000 BC led by Thor's father Odin were revealed.

Avengers #10 (#700) is written by Jason Aaron with art by Ed McGuinness, David Marquez, and Adam Kubert. It is scheduled for release this November by Marvel Entertainment.
