Marvel is gearing up to chronicle the many lives and deaths of Wolverine in an all-new series.
X Lives of Wolverine and X Deaths of Wolverine by Benjamin Percy, Joshua Cassara and Federico Vicentini ushers in The Second Krakoan Age, much like House of X and Powers of X kickstarted The First Krakoan Age of the X-Men. Both series debut in January 2020 and will tell interlocking stories about what happens to "the best there is at what he does" when Wolverine's pasts meet his future.
The announcement of X Lives of Wolverine and X Deaths of Wolverine came as Marvel celebrated its birthday. The publisher announced eight new series and events set for the end of the year and into 2022. The new series include Timeless starring Kang the Conqueror, She-Hulk, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Avengers Forever. Event storylines like "Devil's Reign" and "Fantastic Four: Reckoning War" will run through Daredevil and Fantastic Four, respectively.
Benjamin Percy and Joshua Cassara are the current creative team on Wolverine. At this time there's no word on whether Logan's solo series will continue or be replaced by the interlocking new titles.
