X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE
Actor Hugh Jackman was interviewed by the Herald Sun talking about his pint sized cinematic counterpart. “I’m used to these movies now,” he said. “They’re big and there’s a lot involved, a lot at stake, so it’s always high pressure … He’s one of those kids who’s fearless. I hope he doesn’t read this article because yes, there is pressure on him because of who he’s playing and the expectations of fans. I was lucky to be completely ignorant of fans’ expectations and the whole world before ‘X-Men’ came out. I just hope he doesn’t read too much or go on the internet because he naturally has the goods I know the fans will love.”

It’s plausible since director Jon Favreau told Rotten Tomatoes how far he’s thinking ahead. “I’ve got another two movies in my head; I’m ready to go and I know the cast feels the same way,” he said. “Now it’s out of the hands of us, of the filmmakers, and it’s even out the hands of your readers. I know all the people who have been following this for two years are going to go and see the movie, and maybe they’ll see it twice and I’m very grateful for that. If everybody comes out to see the movie and it’s successful, then I’m sure Marvel’s going to want to do another.”
Truth or misdirection? TFW2005 claims that shooting starts on the sequel June 2nd.
