Chatty ne'er-do-wells are allegedly joining Logan on screen, Larry Hama speaks and the Bat gets animated again in today's look at links, legends and lies.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE

The big rumor flying around the message boards at Superhero Hype is that "Friday Night Lights" star Taylor Kitsch will play Gambit in the mutant-minded spinoff. Superhero Hype also reports a rumor that the production will be shooting in Glebe Point Park, Sydney on February 29.

Another rumor that's back from around the mulberry bush is from Ain't It Cool News who claims that Reynolds will play the merc-with-a-mouth, Deadpool, and Superhero Hype surmised that this will be alongside High Jackman.

G.I. JOE

The name "Larry Hama" has been synonymous with "G.I. Joe" in the minds of many fans since his trailblazing comics series started in the 80s. So what does he think about Stephen Sommers' essay at bringing the classic toy property to the silver screen? You'd have to watch the video interview at IESB to find that out.

THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD

According to World's Finest, a new animated series will premiere in the fall that will showcase Batman with another DCU hero every week. This would be a new animated incarnation with no ties to previous ones (i.e. not "Batman: The Animated Series," not "New Frontier," not "The Batman," not "Gotham Knight" and so on).
