Fox has reportedly tapped "Narcos" star Boyd Holbrook to appear as the chief villain in "Wolverine 3," opposite leads Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, who are returning for the (supposedly) last "Wolverine" outing.

According to Deadline, Holbrook's character hasn't been revealed, but he's being described as the "calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman's clawed Wolverine/Logan hero."

Written by David James Kelly ("Straw Man"), "Wolverine 3" sees the return of "The Wolverine" helmer James Mangold in the directing chair.

Production on "Wolverine 3" is set to begin in May. The film is slated for a March 3, 2017 release.
