Wolfman's Got Nards, the upcoming documentary examining Shane Black's cult classic The Monster Squad, gets a trailer.

A commercial flop upon its initial release in 1987, the horror comedy directed by Fred Dekker (Night of the Creeps) from a script written by Black and Dekker went on to become a fan-favorite cult film. The documentary Wolfman's Got Nards, directed by Andre Gower who starred in the film as a boy, interviews the movie's cast and crew as well as devoted fans to tell the story behind the film and its fanbase.

The Monster Squad tells the tale of the titular gang of adolescent misfits that bond over their mutual love of the iconic Universal Monsters. When the friends discover the monsters are actually real, they team up to protect a mystical amulet and keep it from Count Dracula and his horrific allies to prevent the vampire from plunging the world into darkness.

There has been talk of The Monster Squad reboot or sequel since 2008 but plans to bring back to the cult film back to the big screen have since been abandoned. In the meantime, fans can check the documentary's official website to learn more about it and where the festival favorite will be showing next.
