Wolf Pack's Sarah Michelle Gellar recently teased Season 2 of the Paramount+ supernatural teen drama.

Gellar confirmed that the show's creative team is already mapping out Wolf Pack's next batch of episodes in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "We plan to do [a second season]. We'd like to," she said. "We haven't gotten the official word. I think it's a tough time right now with the [writers'] strike coming up. It's hard, but our numbers have been great and people are still really finding the show and getting excited about it, so I'm hopeful for a Season 2."

"[W]e're already starting to write [Season 2]… I think we would delve a lot more into Kristen and how she got here and what took so long and where she’s been," Gellar continued. "I think you'll definitely have more of that. And I think now, she's gonna have to figure out who the voice on the phone is." There's one development fans shouldn't expect to see in Wolf Pack Season 2, though: Gellar's Kristin Ramsey being outed as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Gellar shot down this fan theory in a recent interview, while also registering her own enthusiasm about the idea of Wolf Pack's second season serving as a Buffy revival.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Talks Buffy

The star remains inextricably linked to the Buffy Summers role, which she portrayed across all seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's run. Gellar seemingly has no problem being forever associated with Buffy, and regularly discusses the beloved show in interviews. She's held onto several Buffy props and wardrobe items, too. These include the "Mister Pointy" vampire-killing stake and Buffy's signature boots. Gellar also owns the jacket she wore in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series finale, "Chosen," which first aired in 1997.

Gellar occasionally mentions Buffy the Vampire Slayer on social media, as well. Among the most recent instances of this was a post the star shared on Instagram, which included a still taken from Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 4, Episode 1, "The Freshman." The still is notable because it spotlights Gellar acting opposite Pedro Pascal, who was a virtual unknown at the time. Pascal eventually found fame after appearing in Game of Thrones and Narcos and currently headlines two of today's most high-profile shows, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.

All eight episodes of Wolf Pack Season 1 are currently streaming on Paramount+. Season 2 is yet to be greenlit.
