Paramount+ has unveiled the first clip from its upcoming Teen Wolf spinoff series, Wolf Pack.

Released during 2022's CCXP, the first look clip at the Paramount+ Original series shows an interaction between Sarah Michelle Gellar's Kristin Ramsey and Rodrigo Santoro's Garrett Briggs as they discuss an ongoing investigation around what Ramsey believes to be a "wild animal." Briggs, however, is not as sure, though he tells her, "Like any other animal in those woods, we can hunt it, or we can kill it."

Paramount+ released the first trailer for Wolf Pack in October during New York Comic Con. The series will follow "a group of teenagers whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature." Along with Gellar and Santoro, Wolf Pack will star Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson, and Tyler Lawrence Gray. The series will premiere on Paramount + Jan. 26, the same day as Teen Wolf: The Movie.

Gellar Returns to Monster Hunting in Wolf Pack

Teen Wolf series creator Jeff Davis is attached to write and executive produce Wolf Pack, which is based on the book series of the same name by Edo Van Belkom. It was announced that Gellar, known for her titular role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, would appear in Wolf Pack as investigator Kristin Ramsey during San Diego Comic-Con in July. In a recent interview, Gellar explained how her experience on Buffy, on which she starred for all seven seasons, impacts her work on Wolf Pack.

"Especially now, I go into my projects as an executive producer," she said. "Wolf Pack, for example. I have these two young girls and two young boys [acting] on it. I have made it very clear from Day 1 that if there are things the production wants to talk to them about, I want them to go through me. Because I’ve been there. And I want [the performers] to always have a safe space."

Along with this first clip from Wolf Pack, Paramount+ released the first, full-length trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie, which offered a first look at the original cast's return to Beacon Hills. This included a reunion between Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and Allison Argent (Crystal Reed), who was presumed dead after Season 3 of the original series. Written and produced by Davis, Teen Wolf: The Movie was announced in September 2021 and filming began in March.

The revival will see the return of most of the original Teen Wolf cast, including Hoechlin, Reed, Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, J.R. Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio and Dylan Sprayberry. Original cast members not returning include Dylan O'Brien and Arden Cho, who played Stiles Stilinski and Kira Yukimura, respectively.

Teen Wolf: The Movie will debut on Paramount+ on Jan. 26, 2023, and all six seasons of the series are currently available to stream on Paramount+ as well. Wolf Pack will release on the streaming service the same day.
