Mick Taylor is back and ready for murderous action. The killer at the center of Greg McLean's 2005 Wolf Creek not only scored a sequel, but he also gets the spotlight in the first trailer for the Australian horror film.

Released in 2005, Wolf Creek introduced the world to John Jarratt's maniacal Mick Taylor, a brutal murderer who preys on tourists in Australia. The sequel supposedly has more comedic elements.

Here's the sequel's official synopsis:

Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, exchange student Paul visits the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. His dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when he encounters the site's most infamous local, Mick Taylor (John Jarratt). When Paul attempts to flee, Mick pursues him across a hostile wasteland and eventually drags him back to his underground lair. After seeing the true magnitude of Mick's monstrosity, Paul's only hope of surviving, where no one has before, will be to use every ounce of cunning to outwit the man behind the monster.

Paul is played by Ryan Corr, who appeared in the Australian shows Packed to the Rafters and Love Child. Wolf Creek 2 will hit select theaters on May 16 and VOD on April 17.
