Some new photos taken on the set of The Witcher have surfaced, giving fans a closer look at the outfits that two of the Netflix show's heroines will be wearing.
The images, which were shared through Redanian Intelligence, are centered on Freya Allan's Ciri and Anya Chalotra's Yennefer. The actors are shown on horseback together, and there are also images featuring their doubles.
One of the photos shows Chalotra conversing on video chat on her phone while seated between takes. This offers a clear look at her dress, which is black with silver fancy stitching. Ciri's outfits appear much more rugged, suitable for travel or for disguising her royal identity.
Although the two characters did not meet each other in the show's first season, these images suggest that they'll be sharing plenty of screen time. They may even indicate that Yennefer, an experienced sorceress, will be instructing Ciri on how to use her own magical ability.
The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as Jaskier. A release date for Season 2 has not yet been announced.
