While Netflix's The Witcher sees its main character -- Geralt -- battling against many horrifying monsters, series star Henry Cavill seems to have settled on which monster fight is his favorite thus far.
During an interview with The Wrap, Cavill first sated his favorite monster fight was Episode 1's face off between Geralt and "human monsters." However, after further pressing, the actor gave a different answer. "I would say the striga fight would probably be my favorite monster fight out of the show,” he said.
The striga is a monster that has not only appeared in The Witcher TV series, but also the original books and popular video game interpretations. Cavill's Geralt did battle with the striga in the third episode of Netflix's series, titled "Betrayer Moon."
The Witcher launched on Netflix one week ago, with a first season comprised of eight episodes. A second has already been announced by Netflix, though there is not yet any official word regarding when it will release. Production on the second season is reportedly slated to begin early next year.
The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as Jaskier. The series is available on Netflix.
