The Witcher Set Video Shows Off An Amazing Castle

A set video from The Witcher shows off an incredible new castle that will be used as one of the locations for the upcoming Netflix series.

The seven-second video posted to Reddit shows the exterior of a beautiful castle, as well as the crew setting up a tracking shot through the front gates of the castle to the building's beautiful exterior.

The castle was later identified as Vajdahunyad Castle. Photos of the historical location revealed the full extent of this castle's splendor and beauty, showing it to be a truly breathtaking structure.

While it remains to be seen how this castle will be incorporated in the Netflix adaptation of the popular novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski, the castle appears to be used for exterior shots in the upcoming series. It is unknown if the interior will be used as well, or how much of this castle's property will be incorporated.

Several set photos of the upcoming fantasy series have already been leaked, including shots of Henry Cavill in costume as the Witcher Geralt. The series is shaping up to be the fantasy event of 2020, assuming principal photography ends by then.
