As epic fantasy franchise The Witcher prepares to make its debut on Netflix, the latest video game adaptation may be coming to the Nintendo Switch even sooner.

An alleged Chinese ad for a Switch port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Witcher-branded decorative accessories have surfaced online, placing a possible on-sale date for the port in China in September.

With neither Nintendo or video game developer CD Projekt Red officially announcing a port of the 2015 title, there is the possibility that the ad is a doctored image. As such, it should still be treated as a rumor until either company issues a confirmation or denial. Creator Andrzej Sapkowski had been in a legal dispute with CD Projekt Red over royalty payments from the video game trilogy, which was resolved this past February, hopefully paving the way for future installments and ports.

In the interim, Netflix's live-action adaptation of Sapkowski's fantasy novel series wrapped principal photography earlier this week.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is developed by CD Projekt Red and available now for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
