John Wick and Joyce Byers may have accidentally become legally married decades ago in real life.

While promoting their upcoming romantic comedy Destination Wedding, Winona Ryder recalled that during the filming of 1992's Dracula, director Francis Ford Coppola hired a real Romanian priest to perform the wedding between Ryder's character and co-star Keanu Reeves. With cameras rolling on set, the two actors exchanged vows in Romania in-character while the priest officiated the nuptials.

"We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to God, I think we’re married in real life," revealed Ryder in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the [final take] and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married."

As Reeves began to reminisce over the production himself, he realized that he and his co-star may, in fact, be bound together in holy matrimony.

"Oh my gosh, we’re married," Reeves enthused.

Reeves will return as John Wick in John Wick: Parabellum on May 17, 2019. Ryder will return as Joyce Byers on the upcoming third season of Stranger Things to premiere on Netflix sometime during summer 2019.

In the meantime, fans can see Ryder and her possible spouse Reeves reunited on the big screen in Destination Wedding out in theaters everywhere on August 31.
