Ever wanted the opportunity to spend some time in the sun with Professor X and Magneto? Now's your chance, as Charity Buzz is auctioning off a visit to the set of X-Men: First Class, the upcoming mutant prequel directed by Matthew Vaughn and co-starring James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.
The description, as per Charity Buzz:
Share the excitement of film making with a set visit of the next installment in the highly successful film series, X-Men to meet producer Bryan Singer. Although cast information has not been announced, the next X-Men film, X-Men:First Class, is sure to be an action packed classic. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will also give the winner a chance to meet some of the actors who may be on set that day. This set visit will take place in Fall 2010 in the United Kingdom.
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.
All proceeds from the auction go to Project Angel Food, dedicated to nourishing "the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses." The auction ends on Thursday (June 24), and as of this writing, the top bid is priced at $2,250.
