Penned by Joshua Williamson, Infinite Frontier saw Roy Harper resurrected and brought back to the DC Universe, but the writer has teased the return of another lost and close to the archer's heart: his daughter.

Lian Harper was tragically killed by the Electrocutioner prior to the events of Flashpoint paving the way for The New 52 era of DC Comics, where she had then never existed to begin with. Infinite Frontier: Secret Files #2 revealed that Roy now remembers the loss of his child and implies that she is still dead, despite the recent reset after Dark Nights: Death Metal. Speaking with The Beat though, Williamson hints that this situation may change.

The Beat's Zack Quaintance mentioned that there is character named Lian Harper floating around the current Catwoman title. When asked if this plot thread will see a converging storyline with Roy Harper, Williamson took a moment before responding with, "They will align at some point." Williamson was hesitant to speak more beyond that.

"This is the thing!" he said, "How to put this...there is a story to be told there, we just haven't told it yet." According to the writer, he "can't go deep into it without ruining other people's stories." However, he does admit that there are ideas being developed for both Roy and for "that character".

So far, the only other tease fans have received about Lian returning to Harper's life came from a variant cover for The Flash #771. The cover showed the two side-by-side as they leap through the city. Despite the cover, the issue made no mention of Harper or his daughter, and aside from Infinite Frontier: Secret Files #2 and Green Arrow 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular, she has had no other mention in modern comics yet.

Infinite Frontier #2, by Joshua Williamson and Xermanico, goes on sale July 13 from DC.
