Start serving the eggnog, because Star Trek icon William Shatner is about to deliver the Christmas carols like no man's ever done before.
The actor has announced a new Christmas album, Shatner Claus, featuring 13 songs and 12 musical collaborations, from "Jingle Bells" to "Winter Wonderland" to "Feliz Navidad." His guests include Brad Paisley, Iggy Pop, Joe Louis Walker, Judy Collins, Rick Wakeman, Todd Rundgren and Henry Rollins. The LP also features an original song, "One for You, One for Me."
The record is Shatner's 10th studio album, and his first Christmas record.
Shatner is known for his boisterous, unique musical interpretations. Over the years, they have been described as exaggerated, theatrical and oratorical, with special focus on the lyrics and meaning. He reportedly treats every song as an acting gig, almost like a stage performance. His songs have been parodied throughout the years, and he is famous for his 1968 rendition of Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man."

Shatner is not the only singer in the Enterprise, however. Most of the original Star Trek cast — Leonard Nimoy, George Takei and Nichelle Nichols — have also released songs of their own.
Due for release on Oct. 26, William Shatner's debut Christmas album Shatner Claus is available in CD and vinyl. Amazon is currently accepting pre-orders.
