Will Maggie Q's Nikita Kick Enough Butt To Make Us Forget Peta Wilson?

How will The CW's new spy drama Nikita compare to La Femme Nikita, the cult series that aired from 1997 to 2001 on USA? Well, judging from the preview below, Maggie Q (Mission Impossible III) is no Peta Wilson. Heck, she barely registers as Maggie Q. Okay, maybe that's a little harsh, but she doesn't have much screen presence. Judge for yourself.

Based on Luc Besson's 1990 French action film, Nikita centers on a spy and assassin for a top-secret U.S. government agency who goes rogue and will stop at nothing to bring down the organization. The series also Lyndsy Fonseca (Desperate Housewives), Shane West (ER), Aaron Stanford (X-Men: The Last Stand), Ashton Holmes (Boston Legal), Tiffany Hines (Bones), Melinda Clarke (The Vampire Diaries) and Xander Berkeley (24).
