Who Will Be Downey's Moriarty?

With Sherlock Holmes 2 due in December of next year, it's no surprise that a lot of rumor surrounds the identity of its main villain - Or, rather, the actor who'll fill the impressively large shoes of Moriarty, when he finally deigns to appear.

Many assumed Brad Pitt was a lock for the role, but Superhero Hype has another suggestion: Daniel Day-Lewis, whom the website claims is the first choice of director Guy Richie. Other names in the running apparently include Gary Oldman, Sean Penn and Javier Bardem, according to the site. Sorry, Brad. Guess you'll have to console yourself with your in-all-other-respects fabulous life.
