Batman: White Knight, Bombshells Headline DC's 2019 Statue Line

DC Collectibles has unveiled statues for 2019 with the Bat-Family taking the spotlight.

The Bat-Family Multi-Part Statue set includes Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood perched on the rooftops of Gotham City. The set is designed by pop artist Joe Ledbetter and utilizes the same statue base as the New Teen Titans Multi-Part Statue set poised to debut next month with the seven-inch figures both available to display individually or joining together as a whole set. Batman will appropriately be the first statue released from the set, scheduled to debut March 2019 with the remaining figures released throughout the rest of the year.

"I’m a huge Batman fan and to have the opportunity to work with DC Collectibles on a set of Batman characters is a huge deal in my world," declared Ledbetter in a press release through DC. "I just love the idea of a bat in a Batman suit, a penguin as the Penguin, etc. There’s something there that’s quite funny and interesting and really excites me. I like to think that these animal Batman characters inhabit a parallel universe where Gotham City is entirely populated by anthropomorphic critters, including the Caped Crusader himself. I think the fun, enthusiasm and love of Batman, Robin, Penguin and Catwoman will shine through on these designer toys and I hope they find a special place on collector’s shelves."

The DC Cover Girls statue will also get a Mera figure while the DC Designer line adds a Hal Jordan Green Lantern figure based off of artist Ivan Reis' design of the character.

The upcoming DC Collectibles figures announced today at San Diego Comic-Con will be available throughout 2019.
