Ever since its manga release in 2015, My Hero Academia has introduced us to a vibrant cast of characters. From the kids to the Pro Heroes, Hirokoshi's characters come in a variety of shapes and forms with which fans empathize and relate. In fact, with such diversity, it is more than likely that you have the same personality as one of the MHA characters.

Thanks to the Myers-Briggs personality test, we can classify prominent personality features into distinct types. More importantly, such classification allows you to easily find other individuals you share personality features - including fictional characters! So, in appreciation of all the distinct personalities in MHA, let's take a look at some of the characters you may have more in common with than you realize.

16 Shoto Todoroki - The Architect (INTJ)

Calm, cool (at least on his right side), and collected, Shoto Todoroki is one of the best representations of an INTJ personality within the MHA universe.

People sharing the same personality with the hot and cold UA students will find themselves relating to his desire to prove himself through his own means rather than his father's. It is that sort of independence and perseverance which makes Todoroki's character arc relatable for many INTJ's.

15 Chizome Akaguro (Hero Killer: Stain) - The Logician (INTP)

Hero killer Stain

Ever since his first appearance, this villain has had a very distinct personality reflective of what would happen if an INTP was put into overdrive.

Emotionally detached, skeptical of the status quo, overtly manipulative, and willing to go to extremes for his beliefs, you may find yourself represented in the Hero Killer in less favorable lighting if you share his personality.

14 All For One - The Commander (ENTJ)

all for one

A strong leader willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goal - sound familiar? It should as All For One is the perfect example of a tyrannical ENTJ.

This sort of personality tends to be power-hungry (quite literally, in this situation) and bent upon achieving their goals by whatever means necessary. Like All For One, such people are natural leaders; always in control of the situation even if it seems like they're lying low.

13 Keigo Takami (Hawks) - The Debater (ENTP)

Calculating and intelligent yet as carefree as a bird, the number 2 hero is one ENTP's can easily see themselves in. Our introduction to him quickly sets the tone for a man who has found the balance between jovial youth and the serious hero.

It is important to note that Hawks is a master speaker like all debater personalities and is easily capable of manipulation or playing devil's advocate if he didn't find lying to be too much work.

12 Izuku Midoriya - The Advocate (INFJ)

Midoriya's idealistic world view and the way in which he is guided by personal values are representative of his INFJ nature. There is not a single scene within My Hero Academia involving the young hero that is devoid of him trying to help or do his best for others.

Advocate personalities such as Midoriya prove to us that it is possible to achieve your goals and help others if you try hard enough.

11 Tamaki Amajiki (Suneater) - The Mediator (INFP)

While Tamaki may seem rather shy and gloomy at times, it is common for INFP's to come across as aloof and sensitive to others. He may be quick to point out flaws in himself but as one of the top 3 at UA Tamaki shouldn't be underestimated.

After all, it is that perfectionism and drive to be better which led Tamaki to his status and propels other mediators further.

10 Yagi Toshinori (All Might) - The Protagonist ( ENFJ)

With an unwavering smile straight from western comic books in his hero form, there is no one better fit to represent ENFJ's. All Might always strives to do what is best for others even at the cost of sacrificing himself; a key characteristic of a protagonist personality which we see clearly demonstrated in his final battle against One for All.

9 Jin Bubaigawara (Twice) - The Campaigner (ENFP)

Twice from My Hero Academia

Twice's loud and vibrant personality is a good example of what an ENFP would be like if pushed into overdrive. His previous attempts at understanding his identity is a struggle many campaigners would relate to.

While not all ENFP's would be too concerned about whether or not they are the original copy of themselves, they would most likely find Twice's loyalty and trusting nature within themselves.

8 Mirai Sasaki (Sir Nighteye) - The Logistician (ISTJ)

With a cold, intimidating glare, Sir Nighteye has a serious air to him and an appreciation for predictability typical of an ISTJ. Logisticians are devoted to upholding certain standards as can be witnessed in Sir Nighteye's dedication to making sure not even morning reports are free of humor - much to Bubble Girl's suffering.

It is this sort of devotion paired with his loyalty and hard work that made this hero the only person fit to be All Might's sidekick and the representative of ISTJ's.

7 Naomasa Tsukauchi - The Defender (ISFJ)

With flashy heroes with even flashier quirks, it can be hard to remember some of the supporting cast carrying out equally important jobs.

Among them, Tsukauchi is an important character trusted by All Might himself with the secret of his condition. What makes this character a perfect representation of an ISFJ is his loyalty and sense of commitment to both his work and others.

6 Tenya Iida - The Executive (ESTJ)

While our introduction to Iida may give the impression of a strict student, we quickly come to find out that he is just earnest and disciplined. This ESTJ, like many others, values structure and organization; as such, it is only natural for him to be so rule-abiding.

Additionally, his calmness under stress and natural leadership as could be witnessed when the reporters invaded UA is something which many ESTJ's should be able to relate to.

5 Mirio Togata (Lemillion) - The Consul (ESFJ)

People with this personality type tend to be supportive and seek to provide for others. Often known to be the "popular guy" personality, it is more than fitting for one of UA's Big 3.

While jovial and humorous, Mirio still maintains a strict moral code. His hero name "Lemillion" is a testament to his dedication and goal to save a million people all with a big smile on his face; all of which brings out the best characteristics of an ESFJ.

4 Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head) - The Virtuoso (ISTP)

Aizawa/Eraser Head from My Hero Academia.

Much like the first impression of Aizawa sensei, ISTP's tend to appear aloof and distant, but one quickly discovers that this reserved nature comes with deep insight into one's surroundings and details.

Additionally, the way in which this teacher connects with both his peers and students is a prominent feature of ISTP's. While he may not be overt with care and motivation like his fellow teachers, one can tell that Aizawa truly does care about his students through his actions.

3 Mashirao Ojiro - The Adventurer (ISFP)

Ojiro's modesty and dignity are portrayed as key attributes of his character which can be seen in ISFP's. Such people are guided by a strong sense of morality and desire to do what is right; all of which can be seen in Ojiro's withdrawal from the sports tournament when he felt that he didn't earn his spot. Perhaps martial arts training is the only thing standing in the way of future ISFP heroes.

2 Katsuki Bakugou - The Entrepreneur (ESTP)

There's no one more representative of such a dynamic personality than the explosive Bakugo. As can be seen in many of his fights, Bakugo is a skilled improviser, and he is not one to shy away from risks or danger.

While he, along with the majority of entrepreneur personalities, prefers action, that does not take away from his intelligence and academic aptitude. So, for those less than friendly, Bakugo is the best ESTP representative within MHA.

1 Eijiro Kirishima - The Entertainer (ESFP)

Fun, energetic, and full of contagious enthusiasm, this red-haired hero provides much for ESFP's to relate to. The rock-hard hero's flashy red hair dye is characteristic of an ESFP's concerns with self-image and how others may view them.

From flashbacks, though, we know that Kirishima had concerns regarding how his own quirk and "dull" image might compete with other Pro Hero's, but now we see him more self-assured in his skills. Even when he faces setbacks, we can now be assured that this Red Riot will stand back up again with the same unwavering energy like a true ESTP.
